The Marion County Adult Detention Center is a five-story, 720,000-square-foot facility designed to house 3,039 inmates. As part of the Marion County Community Justice Campus, the detention center is connected to an 11-story courthouse, a two-story sheriff’s office, and a central utility plant. The facility includes a 32-bed medical unit with specialized areas for dialysis, radiology, physical therapy, dental services, pharmacy, and lab work.
